Minimal Countryside Residential Concept

Project statement
Maison Sereine explores a quieter scale of domestic space: a compact single-storey house gathered around a grassy courtyard. Its inward-facing plan offers shelter while low openings frame the surrounding countryside.
Smooth light-grey mineral walls, soft-white interiors and slim black frames define a restrained palette. Muted ash joinery adds warmth without decorative excess. One maple tree gives the courtyard a seasonal centre.
Three bedrooms, a work room and a separate media room sit alongside everyday living spaces. There is no pool; the garden, covered terrace and courtyard are the principal outdoor rooms.
Reading the project
A single level keeps everyday movement direct. The grassy courtyard draws rooms towards a protected outdoor centre, while the maple tree introduces seasonal change. Work and media spaces remain separate so the shared living room can stay quiet and uncluttered even when different activities happen at once.

Material and spatial language
